SolarBIO: Our Mission

SolarBIO’s mission is to make solar energy accessible to everyone in the Philippines. We were founded to address the need for a local company that offers a complete, end-to-end solar solution. This includes everything from initial design and engineering to procurement, construction, operations, and maintenance. We also provide flexible financing solutions to make the transition to solar power as seamless as possible for our clients.

Our founders, Atty. Ricardo “Gao” Pronove and Engr. Jose Silvestre “Sly” Natividad, are both well-respected leaders in the renewable energy sector. They joined forces to bring this comprehensive solution to the Philippine market.

MEET THE FOUNDERS

• Atty. Gao Pronove, President, SolarBIO
  With over a decade of experience, Gao is a veteran in developing renewable energy projects across the Philippines. His passion for renewable energy began during his time with the UN Climate Change, where he worked as an environmentalist for more than ten years. Upon his return to the Philippines, he applied his expertise to developing biomass and solar projects, successfully bringing over 50MW of solar projects to life. He now brings this extensive experience and commitment to SolarBIO.
  
• Engr. Sly Natividad
  Sly is a prominent figure in the renewable energy community, currently serving as the President of PhilHYDRO, the Philippines’ leading hydropower association. He also holds the position of Chairman at Clean Renewable Energy Solutions Philippines (CRESPHIL). His impressive track record includes the development of more than 80MW of hydro projects, demonstrating his deep expertise in sustainable energy infrastructure.
