Renan Ponce Pascual-Morales, or “Bespren” as what his friends and constituents normally call him, is a public servant, sports enthusiasts, entrepreneur and visionary.  He is an advocate of different charitable causes.

As a businessman who has a passion for learning, he believes that a person must continue to sharpen his skills no matter the age and circumstances.  In line with this, he continues to take Business, Personality Development and Leadership courses in Harvard University and Asia Metropolitan University.

In 2015, he founded the Bespren ng Bayan Foundation which provides assistance to out-of-school youths, rape victims, women caught in sex trafficking, people with disabilities (PWDs), people with substance abuse disorder, and senior citizens who are neglected. “Helping them get into school, be involved in sports, and establish structure in their lives are just mediums.  What I really want to do is help build people’s empathy for others”.  Following her mother’s footsteps, Rhodora Pascual-Morales, he makes sure to give back to the community. 

Morales shares that it is a wonderful feeling to see these people rebuild their lives as they obtain gainful employment, strengthen family ties, and become serious about their faith.  “It’s also great to see them start small businesses and make it grow”, he added. 

Renan has also been supporting different sports group, such as the National Basketball League, LGU Volleyball Tournaments, Paralympic Athletes and Philippine Memory Sports.  As a sportsman himself, he enjoys speed and adrenaline rush.  He is a professional racer, and has been a multiple champion in National and International Car and Super Bike racing tournaments.  Among his accolades include being a World Champion in a Ferrari Racing Cup held in Fiorano, Italy. He is deeply passionate in utilizing his skills and expertise to help make Grand Smart Holding Corporation continue to be an internationally renowned company.  As one of the company’s directors, he now dedicates his time in applying what he has learned from his management and leadership courses to deal with Grand Smart’s business ventures, while continuing his volunteer works that help uplift the lives of his Kababayans.

Erika Bushra P. Morales is a woman who speaks her mind and would rather hit you with the truth than play it safe.  Honesty and integrity are at the core of everything she does.

Inspired by her mother, Rhodora Pascual-Morales, she took up Business Management in University of Sunderland, London and Business Analytics in The Wharton School, Pennsylvania.  This helped and armed her in making important business decisions.  Her intense desire to help her family and continue her mother’s legacy is her greatest motivation.  

Among her most satisfying moment in the industry was being able to revive a gaming business which was on the verge of closing down.  It has not been profitable and draining out money for months before she entered.  With zero experience in that field during that time, she did anything humanly possible and spent sleepless nights to save it. She recalled that she can’t bear to see more than a hundred people losing their jobs. “Don’t be afraid to try and experiment until you find what’s best”, she says. 

Erika just wants a simple and comfortable life.  During her spare time, she does Practical Shooting and takes pride in her skills in that sport. She’s also a champion in stock car racing.   From a family who finds joy in philanthropy, she also does charity works.  Not known to many, she also drives around and gives out food to people on the streets.

As the company’s Vice-President of Finance, she brings her work ethic and ingenious ideas to help Grand Smart Holding Corporation achieve its goals.  She pursues her craft and tries to get better each day.  She notably said that she follows the guidance of her Nanay Rhodora P. Morales and Tito Leandro “Ditoy” R. Atayde Jr., whom she considers as her most significant business influencers and mentors.

Erika’s passion is in being part of businesses that provides meaning and impact.   She is now set to have a major role in 2 upcoming land development projects of Grand Smart: 1) Darussalam Heights – which aims to provide housing for Muslim families; and 2) Bespren Ville – for Christian families.  She is also the
Co-founder of Medbase Pharmaceuticals Inc. and Rrenika Pharmaceutical and Laboratory Solutions Inc.

“Don’t limit yourself, don’t stop learning”, these are the words she lives by and want to share to others.  Her heart’s desire is to continue helping more people by creating and maintaining jobs, sustaining the needs of their employees and their families, as well as her own family in the future.
